Samba City in Rio
| Samba City started operation in
September 2006. It is located near the port of Rio, on an area of about
92,000 sq. meters This is the new location for the Carnival parade workshops - where the samba schools prepare their Carnival carts. The visitors can enjoy Performances, drummers, sewing and sculpture and brief shows. On Thursdays night there is a great show starting at 8pm, with a parade at the end with the visitors participation, as well as fireworks display. Buffet dinner and Cocktails are also served.
